BAUTRACKR ("we", "our") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have under GDPR.

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: first name, last name, email address, company name
• Usage data: app activity, hour entries, reports
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type
• Payment data: processed by Lemon Squeezy (we never see card details)

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for:

• Providing the working hours tracking service
• Authentication and account security
• Sending transactional emails (password reset, reports)
• Improving app functionality

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except with payment processors (Lemon Squeezy) and hosting providers, who are bound by confidentiality agreements.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers in the EU. We use SSL encryption for all communications and bcrypt hashing for passwords. Regular backups are retained for 90 days.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all data
• Download your data (export)

7. Third-party services

The platform uses the following external services which may process certain technical data:

• Hetzner (hosting and servers) — data stored on servers in the EU
• Lemon Squeezy (payments) — processes subscription and billing data; card details are never stored by us
• Google Analytics — anonymous website visit analytics; can be disabled via a browser add-on
• Resend (email delivery) — used exclusively for transactional emails (confirmations, reports)
• Cloudflare Turnstile (CAPTCHA) — protection against spam and automated bots on forms
